A weekend with a friend

I spent the weekend with my roommate from college. She is one of the best roommates I ever had. She is more of a sister these days than an ex-roommate. She came up with her two years old daughter, who I met before when she was a baby. I was surprised to see how much she has grown. Since father and son are in New York for a weeding this weekend, it was just us with our daughters. We spent the weekend shopping at the University district, eating good vegetarian Thai food, swimming, playing at the park and TALKING. It was a GREAT weekend.
